Wheel trimming thrown vessels At this workshop Jenny will take you through how to trim a foot ring on a small to large bowl or platter. The choices you make are a really strong part of the design. You will need to bring: Thrown work made the day before so it is ready to trim - soft leather hard. Trimming tools, clay including enough to make a chuck, and a bat with a sponge attached (if you have it). If you bring more than one piece you may or may not be able to trim them all, depending on space in the class. Vessel types: Small to large bowls and platters or plates. You can use any type of clay that you are currently using for throwing. Jenny is happy to have anyone come along who would like help with trimming or finishing their work.
