Join renowned painter and Festival of Pots guest artist Shona Mackenzie for an inspiring two-day painting workshop designed to help you explore colour, composition, and creative expression in a supportive and relaxed setting. Shona is known for her vibrant, textural paintings that capture the beauty of the natural world through bold brushwork, rich layers, and intuitive use of colour. Her workshops encourage play, experimentation, and personal discovery - making them ideal for both beginners and those looking to reignite their artistic spark. Over two days, participants will: 🎨 Learn practical techniques in composition, layering, and texture 🌿 Explore colour mixing and expressive mark-making 🖌️ Develop confidence in finding their own artistic style Whether you’re completely new to painting or keen to deepen your creative practice, this workshop offers a joyful, hands-on opportunity to paint, learn, and connect with others in a welcoming studio environment. ✨ Spaces are limited to 12-14 students per session — book early to secure your place!
