Class Description
Join us in a captivating two-day sculptural workshop led by the renowned artist Javier Murcia. With an impressive background in figurative and portrait sculpting, Javier has an extensive portfolio of both private and public exhibitions, including notable projects like Gallipoli and The Scale of Our War at Te Papa. All skill levels are warmly welcomed to join us for this enriching experience. During these engaging sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to focus on sculpting the intricate aspects of the head, face, and neck using clay as their medium. The workshop will emphasise simplified anatomy, foundational proportions, and essential elements needed to skilfully recreate the human form. Full Refund: Granted if OPC cancels a course. Withdrawal Refunds: 80% refund for cancellations made more than 7 days before the class starts (20% retained for administrative costs). No refund if cancelled during the week before the class starts.
